I have to drive from NJ to Seattle between Dec. 28th to Jan. 5th. What will be my safest but reasonably fastest route?
I’ve been to every state in the US except Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, N. And S. Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, and Alaska.
Unfortunately, I don’t know if that northern route will be the safest road conditions, but it definitely would be the fastest.
I’m not entirely sure how best to cross the Rockies in winter even if I do go more southern and I’m not sure I have the time to drive all the way down to NM and Arizona.
Has anyone made a similar road trip around New Years? What route do you think I should take? What are my options?
