3 different homilies narinig ko today abt this. One, kase rinig hanggang adoration chapel, and the other two during mass.
And they all said one thing kaso nalimutan ko kung ano n un... I think something abt "Jesus looked away," pero di ko n matandaan tlga. 🤔 Basta sabi nila:
👉 Homily 1:
* Jesus doesn't call out/shame sinners, Jesus calls sinners.
* Hindi nakakapagpabago ang pamamahiya (ng makasalanan).
* Jesus looked away sa taong makasalanan na gusto ipakita at ipahiya ng mga Pariseo sa Kanya.
* Jesus looks beyond your sins and sees the good in you.
👉 Homily 2:
* Last Sunday ang Gospel was abt the Prodigal Son wherein ang key message ay: Wala ka mang kwenta sa iba, sa Diyos ikaw ay may kwenta.
* In today's Gospel it is all about: Huwag manghusga.
* Every person is bigger than his or her sins. May kakayahang magbagongbuhay.
* Ang tingin sa'tin ng Diyos: "Kaya mong magbago." May pag-asa ka pa.
* Ang tinitingnan ng Diyos: Pwedeng maging santo ang taong ito.
* A quote from a saint: "Every saint has a sinful past, every sinner has a saintly future.
* Wag mong husgahan kundi bigyan ng pagmamahal. (Then he shared a story w/c says ang pagmamahal ay kusang nakapagpapabago ng tao.)
👉 Homily 3:
* Sino yung hindi nabanggit na isa pang makasalanan sa Gospel today? Yung lalakeng kasama ng babaeng nakiapid!
* Di ako naka-take notes but basically sabi rin niya: Wag tayo manghusga dahil lahat tayo makasalanan at kapag napatawad na tayo ng Diyos wag na tayo muling magkasala: "Go and sin no more."

And this my friends is proof na universal ang turo sa mga pari. Siyempre everything was passed down from 2,000 yrs mula pa sa mga apostol ni Kristo. Hindi biro mag-aral maging pari kala nyo, haha. Sige aralin nyo yung Summa Theologica as a start at nang makita nyo. 😆
Basta ang saya-saya makinig ng homilies, kahit at times masakit marami namang matututunan. Ang problema tlga yung application sa buhay. 😅
Mama Mary and St. Joseph, pray for us that we may be able to apply what we learn from priests! 🙏
