You are a seed. The entire true church of Christ is bagful of seeds. Good seeds, that is!
Jesus in his infinite, sovereign and unimpeachable wisdom sowed and planted us, strategically throughout the world!
You are not an accident nor a fluke or an anomaly! YOU ARE GOD’S GOOD SEED! He has scooped you and the faithful in His hands and sowed into the field so you can bloom for Him!
You are unassuming and even, vulnerable and ordinary looking. Like these seeds of a plant called a “snapdragons” which by the way is the tiniest I have ever seen. They look like dust actually!
But don’t you ever under estimate what God has created you to be! Do not belittle your apostolic calling!
Because imbedded deep inside your being, you have untapped and vast potentials of life, power, growth and breakthroughs! you are actually wired to transform into a beautiful flower like a full grown snapdragon that will be planted in the best places of the world to beautify them!
So never lose sight of that! YOU ARE GOD’S SEED TODAY BUT TOMORROW YOU WILL BE GOD’S FLOWER!
But before you transform from your unassuming and vulnerable state, you must first of all experience the following:
1. YOU MUST BE SOWN! Jesus is the sower and He enlists the help of the true sent ones of God like the apostles to sow you! - Matthew 13:37, 1 Corinthians 3:6 hence, as a seed trust, completely trust and rely on the wisdom of Jesus and the apostle to sow you whereever they see fit! Do not protest or complain where you will be assigned or sent out! Trust the wisdom of God and His sent ones!
2. YOU MUST BE CARED FOR! God is the gardener - John 15:1. Do not think you are abandoned or forsaken! God has your back! He is doing everything within His power to watch out for you. The forces and influences against you will not prevail over you because God is your protector! - Romans 8:31-33.
3. YOU MUST CHANGE - John 12:24 This is called “germination,” a process where in the external skin of a seed peels or comes off and the plant begins to look like it has died. But do not be fooled by the seeming external decay on the outside, because inside the seed life is going to spring out and reveal its life and beauty! Similarly, we must also “die” or engage in righteous suffering for it is when we lose our lives, that we will actually find it in abundance!
Remember these truths and live them out each day!
