Travelling through Germany
Hi everyone!
We’re currently travelling through Germany in our converted camper. First night in Bruggen last night was lovely, what a quaint town!
We’re looking to drive down to either Düren or Leichlingen to camp for the night so we can train into Cologne. Our camper is not low emission and does not qualify for a sticker so we are unable to drive in at all. I’ve been looking at trains from either of these places however they’re coming up at €80+ for same day return! A quick google mentions local trains are anywhere between €7-€12. Am I missing something? Any help appreciated!
Plus any recommendations of things to do for first time Germany visitors ☺️
