Growing a 3D Flower Garden, One 55-Minute Stretch at a Time 🌸✨ Hi there....Sandra here.... Working through 60 (Photo 1)of these intricate 3D flowers is definitely a test of patience, but watching them come to life row by row makes every single stitch worth it! Each flower takes 9 rows to build (Photo 2), with alternating rounds and individual motif work. I’m currently on row 3, working each flower individually—15 per side. At 2 completed and 58 to go, the finish line for this layer is still a ways off, but progress is progress! To keep my eyes, hands, and back happy through such high-texture, repetitive work, I’ve given up on the "just finish one more row" trap. Now, as soon as my hook touches the yarn, a 55-minute timer starts. When the alarm sounds, the hook and WIP go straight down for a mandatory stretch and eye break—even if I'm right in the middle of a petal! Using my trusty bobby pins as placement markers makes it completely seamless to drop everything mid-round and pick it right back up without losing my spot. Slow, steady, and ergonomic. 🧶💫
