> **"O you who have believed, when the call to prayer is proclaimed on Friday, hasten to the remembrance of Allah and leave off trade. That is better for you, if you but knew."**
> **— Surah Al-Jumu'ah (62:9)**

### **ﷺ TODAY'S HADITH**
> **"Whoever reads Surah Al-Kahf on Friday, light will shine for him between the two Fridays."**
> **— Al-Hakim (Sahih)**

---

### **💎 TODAY'S WISDOM**

**1️⃣ THE FRIDAY OF SHAWWAL** – This is the first Jumu'ah after Ramadan. The month of fasting has passed, but the Friday reminder remains. Allah calls us to *"hasten to the remembrance of Allah"* — not just during Ramadan, but every Friday, every week, throughout the year.

**2️⃣ LEAVE OFF TRADE** – The verse specifically commands us to pause worldly pursuits for the sake of prayer. In a world that never stops, this is a divine permission to pause, reflect, and reconnect. Even after Ramadan, this weekly reset is a gift.

**3️⃣ THE LIGHT OF SURAH AL-KAHF** – The Prophet ﷺ promised that reciting Surah Al-Kahf on Friday illuminates the believer's week. As we move forward from Ramadan, let this light guide us through the ordinary days ahead.

---

### **⚡ DAILY ACTION STEPS FOR JUMU'AH**

**1️⃣ RECITE SURAH AL-KAHF** – Today, recite or listen to Surah Al-Kahf. Let its light brighten your week.

**2️⃣ SEND ABUNDANT SALAWĀT** – The Prophet ﷺ said: *"Send abundant blessings upon me on Friday, for your blessings are presented to me."* Make it a habit today and every Friday.

**3️⃣ SEEK THE HOUR OF ACCEPTANCE** – There is an hour on Friday when du'as are not rejected. Seek it, especially in the last hour before Maghrib.

**4️⃣ CONTINUE THE RAMADAN SPIRIT** – Ramadan may have ended, but the habit of gathering for prayer, of seeking Allah, of remembering Him — these are meant to continue.

### **🤲 DU'A OF THE DAY**

**"O Allah, make this a day of goodness, blessing, light, mercy, and forgiveness. O Allah, bless us in this Friday of ours, and do not make it our last in this world. Forgive us, forgive our parents, and forgive all Muslims."**

**ĀMĪN.**

*"The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday."*
— Sahih Muslim

Ramadan taught us to prioritize our Creator. Now, as we return to the routines of ordinary life, Friday stands as a weekly reminder: pause, pray, remember, and reconnect. Let this Jumu'ah be the first of many where you carry forward the light of Ramadan into the rest of the year.

May Allah accept our Ramadan, bless our Shawwal, and make us among those who honor His days and remember Him always. Ameen.
