Suzuki gz250 not starting despite replacing solenoid and ignition
About a month ago my 2007 Suzuki Gz250 stopped starting. All my lights would turn on but I got nothing when hitting the ignition. I could still bump start it. After doing some research and trouble shooting this led me to believe it was the solenoid or the ignition switch. I replaced the solenoid first because it was cheaper and easier. It did nothing. I next replaced the ignition switch and it seemed to fix the problem at first. It started right up. However it would not stay running. I am able to bump start it some but not all the times and no matter what I cannot get it to keep running. I have left it on the charger overnight twice and it will start once, idle for a minute and then die and not start again. Sometimes it turns over but won't start, other times it won't turn over and just clicks. I've tried jumping it and get the same thing. I'm thinking the battery is shot. Any other ideas before I go and buy a new battery?
