The YouTube Algorithm pushed a short video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YyWTmxwxYDc from Temple Israel (in Michigan)'s Erev Rosh Ceremony in which, as a congregation, they welcomed their torahs back into the ark, after being a nomadic community following the terrorist attack back in March.
Seeing their clergy, lay leaders, and congregants carry their torahs with the utmost care and dignity, tears welling up in their eyes, so many congregants crying too... just the love and community in the room. I cried along with them.
Being able to move forward and return to faith and traditions after terror.... this is why we will survive. We as Jews will survive and carry forth our traditions from generation to generation, because we go through the worst, come out shaken, but faithful.... seeing the bonds that truly do connect us and the sense of community and love we have for each other.
