I know this is probably dumb but do you ever feel tearful when you read something you just know is a masterpiece?
I’m reading The Road and I keep wanting to cry at some passages. Not because they’re sad (though there are plenty of bleak ones) but because it fills something in my soul How every word serves the story. How terribly bleakly beautiful it is
But I have nobody to express this too because nobody I know reads much. But there’s nothing that fills my soul so much like words and idk why. I wish I could look at art and feel that way. I mean art touches me, But there is nothing in the world that could bring me to feel so much like words do.
