LPT: Keep a running document of your wins at work. Your future self will thank you come review time.
I started doing this after blanking completely in a performance review when my manager asked what I’d achieved that year.
Every time something goes well at work I write it down. Finished a project. Got good feedback. Solved something nobody else could. Thirty seconds and a date. That’s it.
Come review time I’m not sitting there trying to remember twelve months of work. It’s all there. Specific, dated, real.
Works for CVs, interviews and promotion conversations too. Everything you need is already written down and ready to go.
Wish someone had told me this on my first day at work honestly.
