LPT: Documentation at work
Hello everyone,
I want to start a CYA folder at work and document everything like if I see a coworker do something wrong or violate company policy just to cover my butt if they ever try to throw me under the bus.
I have a work email and so was thinking of starting a Microsoft word document with all my documentation and upload it to my work one drive so everything is dated and timestamped.
Obviously I am also going to keep the documentation on my own personal computer and email as well.
However I was wondering about keeping documentation about your coworkers on your work email given the fact that is it a work email and IT and the company have access to it and can see everything.
How would that look and any suggestions about keeping personal documentation in your work email and personal email?
