How did you determine your individual style in photography?

I’m a hobbyist photographer, my main genre is street photography. Recently I have been having issues determining what ‘style’ of photography I would like to make my own. One day I might listen to the Blade Runner soundtrack and I want to shoot more cinematic/moody photos, the next day I might listen to The Car by the Arctic Monkeys and I will want to shoot more nostalgic looking photos. Two completely different styles influenced by music. My issue is however that I want to focus on one style only, I need that focus with photography or I feel like I am completely lost. But with music being so important to me it’s hard to focus on one style and then feel like I am doing the wrong thing by listening to a particular genre of music? I hope this makes sense, I am really posting here hoping that others are like myself and just as bewildered as to why their brains do this to themselves.
