MT-07 fork weeping? Right stanchion has oily ring/grime band, left leg clean
MT-07 (2017). Noticed the right fork stanchion has a visible oily “tide mark”/wet band (see pic). Left fork leg is clean/dry. I had both fork seals replaced by Yamaha \~1–2 years ago. This looks like a weep rather than a full blowout—oil film + dirt ring on the tube—but it keeps coming back after wiping.
Looking for advice on likely causes (dirt under seal vs seal damage vs nicked stanchion/bushing wear) and best next steps. Should I try a Seal Mate / cleaning under the dust seal first, or is this “replace seals again” territory? Any advice appreciated.
