Almost anytime I see an anti-trans comment from a woman on social media, there's a very high chance she's British. I've ofc heard the term "TERF Island" and JK Rowling exists but it's still surprising to me how vehemently anti-trans many British women seem to be...to the point if I ever go to Britain I'd be cautious about being pro-trans around even liberal Brits (whereas around liberal Americans this is not something I feel I have to be cautious about)
What's going on over there that's causing this? Sure there's anti-trans American women, but they seem less vocal about it than the Brits at least online?
Any historical and/or sociological reasoning for this? #lifestyle
