I'm going on vacation soon and I bought a new luggage duffel case for $120 on Macy's website. Now the luggage is 67% off. I'm so distraught.
I'm going on vacation in a couple of weeks and I haven't had a vacation in awhile. I needed a larger luggage case so I found one I liked at Macy's. It was $120 , but I thought it was reasonable price for a larger case. I needed to buy this quickly as I couldn't wait too long to order since it would be a major problem if the shipping took too long.
Well, I got an email today saying my luggage case is out for delivery. I then clicked on the original page and it was marked down to 67% off ! It's $40 now. I paid full price. If I had just waited then I could have saved a bunch of money. Can I call Macys to get the discounted price instead and they reimburse me ? I doubt it. I'm sure it doesn't work like that. I consider myself somewhat frugal and good with money, but I feel like a jackass now. How the hell was I supposed to know that they would discount it heavily last week when I ordered it ? 67% off ! Come on man....
If you're interested in which luggage it is, here is the string to look it up: "30" Adventure Upright Rolling Duffel Bag" , which is on Macy's website . Unbelievable...
UPDATE: I called Macy's now and they honored the price difference back to my credit card. Thanks for the help guys !
