A 2.5 hour timelapse of Jupiter and 3 Galilean moons
Hi all. I made a timelapse using footage from my old Takahashi CN-212 Cassegrain + ASI462MC, trained on Jupiter for about 2.5 hours. The data is from Oct 4th 2022, captured from my old place in NorCal. The visible moons are Europa, Ganemede, Io, in that order.
Sequence composed of 51 stacked images. Each image was stacked from 600 video frames, then processed in wavesharp. I (eventually) combined in Davinci Resolve to make the animation! #space source
