America on Film - Across the Country in a Porsche 968
Last year, two friends and I spent three weeks driving our cars across from Atlanta, GA to Monterey, CA for car week. I posted my digital photos last year from the drive over, but I also brought a couple of Fujifilm QuickSnaps with me. I still consider myself a novice photographer. I'm proud of what I can put together, I know my way around settings and editing, but as always, there's a whole lot to learn.
With two 90s-era cars in the convoy, I liked the idea of capturing some "period" type photos. With a limited number of exposures to work with and no real camera settings, it forced me to think a little harder about what exactly I wanted to capture. I also enjoyed the aspect of not immediately being able to review, reminisce, or retake a photo, and more-or-less "forgetting" the photos I captured until they got developed.
