A Piece of the Andromeda Galaxy
Due to the limited FOV of my setup I decided to focus on just one side of the Andromeda Galaxy. This image is a mosaic of two panels. I encourage you to zoom in to appreciate some of the details, particularly the Ha regions.
Acquisition: Two panels, each with the following subs:
* Ha: 50 subs x 300s
* R: 30 subs x 240s
* G: 30subs x 240s
* B: 30 subs x 240s
* Bortle 5 sky
Equipment:
* Telescope: Celestron EdgeHD 800 with 0.7x focal reducer
* Mount: Celestron CGX
* Camera: ZWO ASI2600MM Pro
* Filters: Antila 3nm Ha + RGB
* Filter Wheel: ZWO EFW
* Guide Camera: ZWO ASI174MM Mini with OAG
