End of days for our Xbox 360, what next? My kids have played to death our 360, in particular the Just dance series and other Kinect games. I can pick up an Xbox One + Kinect for €100. Is it worth it for some casual, fun gaming, a few more years of Just dance etc? How obsolete is the One?
Pretty much the question is in the title. When my two girls were young we got an Old 360 to do some family gaming like Just dance, some sports plus COD, Minecraft and Sims etc. Had a scare last week when we had the red light of death appear for the first time. Thankfully it lives to fight another day but just considering whether to do the same again, pick up an old One console plus a few more Just dances etc. For their needs, a good idea or a waste of money, what's the backwards compatibility like with the games I mentioned, is the One in any sense about to become obsolete? Any other thoughts? I really dont see this getting much action beyond the next 2 or 3 years.
