1982 suzuki gs750 will go from running perfect to not even firing
Before you comment, PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY
i have had this bike for 8 months now, its my first bike and i have finally got insurance and plates for it. I have had nothing but problems, it will go from running perfectly to not firing at all even on starting fluid (this is now the 3rd time its done this).
Carbs have been cleaned thoroughly many many many many many (you get the idea) times in hopes that it will do something
It has 125psi perfect on all 4 cylinders, plenty of fuel (plugs are always wet), brand new plugs, and the stock airbox which feeds it more than enough air. I have tested spark on all 4 cylinders and its absolutely perfect. What i fail to understand is why it started so easily and so perfectly on monday, and the very next day it refuses to even fire. It was perfect the day i got it, then within weeks it started stumbling and dying, then wouldnt fire at all, so i completely tore it apart and cleaned everything cleaner than when they left the factory. repeat the process 2 more times and here i am. No matter what i try to say, im always being insulted over trying to diagnose this because people refuse to believe that anyone other than themselves knows how to clean components. I have riden it exactly one time and during that time i thought i had finally gotten it to love me and stay the way it was, come the next day and im back at the start. Im out of ideas, it started with no choke, no throttle pumps, just 15 seconds of the petcock set to prime and it came to life like it was nobody’s business. Im tired
