Anyone try to make their own bike rack to hang over the outside of the rear door?
I found this company / product and thought it was quite nifty.

But I can't spend $130 on this thing when I can buy a fork mount for $10 and a piece of steel for another $10 and bend it to shape with a torch and a hammer. The question is... how thin does the steel need to be to fit?
Anyone know?
