Let's talk The Master and Margarita
I went into this book so excited but 100 pages in I can't bear to keep going. I've found the story convoluted and not at all gripping. Every major event so far has just felt anti climactic and I have 0 motivation to keep reading, feeling very disconnected from the story and characters. This is my first Russian author so maybe I'm just not used to the style or maybe I need to get a little further in to enjoy it.
I'm used to allegorical and harder, longer books (for example I just finished East of Eden which I thoroughly enjoyed) but this just seems boring.
What do/did you think of it?
Should I keep going or is it just not for me?
