Who are some lyricists who are abstract and poetic?
These are two of my favorite qualities when it comes to lyrics. My favorite examples of lyricists like this are Thom Yorke of Radiohead, Maynard J Keenan of TOOL, Chris Cornell, Chino Moreno of Deftones, Elizabeth Fraser of Cocteau Twins, Robert Smith of The Cure, Michael Gira of Swans, Kurt Cobain of Nirvana, Mark Hollis of Talk Talk, and Syd Barrett, Roger Waters, and David Gilmour of Pink Floyd. Who do y’all think are some good examples that exemplify these traits?
