Dealership dropped my two week old bike off the lift
I had brought it in for its first service and got a call that they dropped it because of a strap “malfunction”. I was so shocked, didn’t even know what to say. They tried to offer fixing it, I ended up telling them to not touch it and I’d come see the damage.
It landed upside down on its handlebars and rear seat! Fork damage, most fairings damaged on both sides, engine case damaged, gas tank damaged, rims scratched up, coolant and brake fluid all over it.
So I’m like no way, this was a brand new bike you aren’t just going to “fix” it. They say the GM isn’t in, I’m like fine I’ll come back tomorrow. It would give me time to process and cool down aha.
Anyway, they call me back later in the day and say they’ll give me a new bike but I have to pay the $800ish in registration and title fees. They tried saying it’s a great deal bc I would be back to 0 miles. Who LIKES going through the break in period??? I was so excited to finally be out of it and get the full r7 experience. Fuuuuck that.
I’ll be going in tomorrow to tell them to give me a new bike and I won’t be paying a dime. #motorcycles source
