Do you love yourself enough to stay committed? People…

Do you love yourself enough to stay committed?

People often ask me how I stay so disciplined. How can I write a daily blog for over ten years without missing a day, coach clients around the world, write books, research investments, walk 15 to 20 miles a week, and push myself through strength training four or five times a week?

My answer is usually pretty simple. I don’t see it as discipline as much as I see it as passion, purpose, and respect for myself.

But when I think about it, that really is discipline.

Discipline is one of the greatest forms of self love.

Years ago, I realized that if I wanted to become the person I envisioned, I had to start treating myself like someone worth investing in. Not just when I felt motivated, but especially when I didn’t.

That meant making choices today that would benefit me tomorrow. Understanding that what I do frequently becomes my frequency.

But I also learned something equally important. Discipline isn’t about pushing yourself until you have nothing left. It’s knowing when to rest, recover, and replenish your energy so you can continue growing.

You see, your body, mind, and energy are your greatest resources. Without taking care of yourself, how can you possibly give your best to those you love and serve?

Self love isn’t selfish. It’s a responsibility.

So today, make one commitment to yourself. Something that supports your health, your growth, or your purpose. Then honor that commitment consistently.

Because becoming your True Self isn’t about doing everything.

It’s about loving yourself enough to consistently do what matters.
