'Jerry' put in his first appearance in 48 hours this morning. Wasn't positive he would return after trapping him, having him neutered, then leaving him in a pet carrier for the first 24 hours. When I let him loose Saturday morning he didn't run away but made no hesitation about quickly leaving the property. I was putting the odds of him coming back at about 50%, so I was glad to see him but his trust in me is at an all-time low for the moment. I tried explaining to him that he is now neutered so he doesn't need to worry about that happening again but I do not think he quite believed me.
