Here's something I genuinely believe:
Having a baby should not be used as proof that a relationship is serious.
A baby is not a marriage proposal.
A baby is not a relationship fixer.
A baby is not a way to force two families together.
And a baby certainly shouldn't be brought into the world because you're afraid someone might leave.
Children deserve to come into relationships where the adults have intentionally decided what kind of family they're building.
Love is important.
But so is responsibility.
