Can someone help me find out what is wrong with my 2018 Honda shadow phantom?

This is my 2018 Honda shadow phantom 750 it only has 13,975 miles on it I’ve only ridden this motorcycle for 1,500 miles it has new oil and for some reason when shifting up from 1st to 2nd gear the bike jerks before it engages and in this video the ticking noise you hear is my foot shifter randomly smashing my foot in while in gear can someone please tell me what is happening to this motorcycle
