Laundry day has somehow become my water refill day too
I’ve got my little loop now, which feels ridiculous but it works. Laundromat, grocery store, water refill, then figure out where to dump the gray jug before I forget and it starts sloshing around under the sink.
The annoying part is when one piece of the loop breaks. Last week the place I usually use had the spigot shut off, and the nearby RV park wanted a full day-use fee just to dump. I ended up pulling up DumpScout in the parking lot and found a municipal dump station a few miles away that I never would’ve noticed from the road.
Stuff like this is the least romantic part of living out of a van. Nobody wants to hear about sink water and where you washed a coffee mug, but it eats up more planning than people think.
