Woodstove glowing pipe
Note: there is no fire restriction in my area, and it was raining all night…
I just bought a van with a tiny woodstove (bigger then a cubic mini but still tiny). And wonder if other people have had this issue?
Had the first fire last night, maybe three peices of wood wrist thick and the stove pipe was glowing red. The lowlight camera makes it look worse than it was… but it was red.
As soon as I noticed I closed the damper completely, and opened the windows to get some cool air on the stove.
Not sure the brand of stove (probably chineseium) 2.5 inch uninsulated stove pipe.
My limited research shows this is somewhat normal for hot tent stoves?
