Musk’s Reality Plan for DOGE Is Tragic
I have spent months trying to think of a term that would adequately characterize Musk and Trump. They are “illusionists,” which is the closest I’ve come, but that gives them too much credit. They use the least subtle deception, such as throwing up distracting crap, before stealing all of our valuables.
The problem is that we are so engrossed in their antics that we are unable to sucker punch these kleptomaniac clowns, even though we are aware that this is just sloppy deception and that every single one of our pockets is being picked. Before we have the resources to deck these idiots and reclaim our watches and wallets, we must overcome their confusing delusions and call a spade a spade. What exactly is Musk attempting to accomplish with DOGE, then? Because there is absolutely no money being saved by him.
Musk asserted that DOGE would identify and stop waste and fraud in government. But no one has been convicted of fraud by DOGE, and no fraud cases have gone to trial. So it’s all garbage, isn’t it? Well, no. The US government will lose more money as a result of Musk’s cuts than it will gain. Given that the government faces significant legal costs when people are fired illegally, this is partially due to legal remedies. But DOGE has also set a restriction on government revenue. For instance, despite the fact that every dollar spent on IRS agents generates between $5 and $12 for the government, DOGE wants to reduce the number of IRS agents by 20%.
Because of this, numerous assessments have concluded that DOGE will actually raise the US deficit rather than decrease it. Furthermore, that isn’t conjecture. After first promising to eliminate $2 trillion, Musk later backed down to $1 trillion, and now he claims that DOGE has trimmed $150 billion. However, even that number is questionable due to glaring accounting irregularities. Trump has spent $155 billion more than Biden has thus far in his time, despite these savings, and Biden was battling COVID!
Although this is the antithesis of the fiscal conservatism that Trump and Musk advocated, the additional spending hasn’t improved the economy or the quality of life for Americans. They are producing garbage for the government, not reducing it!
Nevertheless, Trump and Musk appear to be really pleased with DOGE, which suggests the secret reason for this delusion. What has DOGE done, then, that they are so happy about?
The government’s ability to hold billionaires like Musk and Trump responsible has been undermined by DOGE’s numerous cases of crazed corruption and conflict of interest. As a reminder, Starship poses a significant risk to aviation and the environment, is not yet operational, and is the subject of extensive FAA investigation. Thus, this is yet another blatant instance of corruption.
Trump is clearly aiming to turn the US government into a plutocratic authoritarian disaster, so it’s understandable why he’s thrilled with DOGE’s extensive corruption.
However, keep in mind that Trump and Musk are capital “F” fascists. Brown migrants are the group they have marginalized in an effort to hide their shortcomings, boost their brittle egos, and defend their authority. In an effort to “purify” the United States, both have promoted the vile, blatantly white supremacist, and manifestly incorrect “Great Replacement Theory” and are actively breaking the law to dehumanize, discriminate against, and deny these people.
And DOGE is contributing to this to disastrous results.
As you can see, DOGE has obtained private information that is legally required to remain securely stored within the IRS, Social Security Administration, and Department of Housing and Urban Development. All US residents’ names, residences, and social security numbers are included in this data. DOGE is providing Trump with this information, which he is utilizing to exclude from these databases anyone he believes to be an undocumented immigrant and to deny them access to Social Security by adding them to the “death master file.”
They would be unable to use or access bank accounts, credit cards, financial services, and benefits as a result. Why? Musk and Trump’s desire to pressure these alleged illegal migrants to “self-deport” is blatantly savage. But not only is it probably illegal for DOGE to provide this data, but it is also against these people’s rights to restrict them access to essential financial services. Furthermore, since due process is once more being violated, Musk and Trump might treat anyone — not just undocumented migrants, but also asylum seekers or even US residents.
It is clear that DOGE is being utilized as a vehicle of fascist cleansing, especially in light of Trump’s recent revelation that he intends to send US people to concentration camp-style jails in El Salvador.

He must therefore come up with workarounds. He installs a loyalist in charge if he can get away with it, and they dismantle the organization from the ground up, as was the case with the Department of Education. However, he sends in his personal sabotage unit, DOGE, if he is unable to do so, like with the Department of Labor or the Social Security Administration.
According to insiders, DOGE was in “complete, utter chaos” and was on the verge of going into a “death spiral” as a result of the several crippling cuts it made to Social Security. In order to give Trump a legal path to destroying the agency, DOGE went in and crippled it by eliminating whatever they could. After all, it has to be corrected or thrown out if it doesn’t work.
It turns out that DOGE may have been attempting to frame these agencies as well. According to a recent whistleblower, DOGE removed almost all safety precautions on the National Labor Relations Board database, which contains extremely sensitive data. After that, they downloaded a ton of data, which will probably support Trump’s “self-deportation” initiatives. However, there was an increase in login attempts from people with IP addresses from outside the US after DOGE took this action. One was a Russian IP address that attempted to enter in with the right username and password; fortunately, the whistleblower halted this effort, but it would have been prevented earlier by the two-step authentication that DOGE disabled.
What’s happening? Either way, it’s plausible that DOGE is simply extremely careless. Alternatively, they are attempting to intentionally undermine the security of these agencies in order to generate significant security threats, which Trump may then utilize as justification for closing the agency altogether. It’s difficult to understand how this isn’t what DOGE is intentionally attempting to do given the absence of security mechanisms and a foreign login attempt with accurate information.
I doubt I need to describe the horror of shutting down organizations like Social Security, the Department of Labor, or the National Labor Relations Board. To put it mildly, it would pave the way for complete plutocratic control.
Thus, this is DOGE’s real impact. It has made massive corruption possible, but it hasn’t saved any money or uncovered any fraud. It has made it possible for minorities to be brutalized illegally and for people’s rights to be violated. It has taken steps to undermine and discredit government organizations that protect the populace from corporate abuse and oligarchy.
DOGE’s actions are purely subversive and a coup d’état that the president invited; they have nothing to do with efficiency. The US government’s values and principles are being undermined and destroyed, and the existing social order and democratic power structures are being overthrown in a clear attempt to turn the US into a plutocratic, authoritarian, white supremacist, and fascist state. That’s why DOGE makes Trump and Musk quite happy. It has excellently served its purpose.
If that doesn’t shatter the illusion enough, I think we should rename DOGE (the Department Of Government Efficiency). Instead, I think we should call it DOOFAS: the Department Of Oligarchical Fascist American Subversion.
