The Virgin Suicides?
I read this book a few years ago and was recently reminded of what actually happened. I think I accredited a lot more to the author than maybe deserved, but I’m curious what others think. Initially, I thought it was an incredible satire of “the male gaze” but I really don’t think 1990s Jeffrey Eugenides was pondering the vices of male adolescence. Anyways, I’m curious what others thought of this book or what was intended by it!
