Hi everyone! I work in marketing at a very small engineering firm. I graduated with a degree in graphic design. I took photography in college but I was looking for some tips. This is my first time taking headshots. I have a DSLR and my tripod. I have a room with a blank wall that has windows on all three sides except that wall. That was the wall I am planning on using. I think I’m feeling pretty good about that, but does anyone have any tips and tricks? I have some awkward coworkers so if you have any ideas of how to help them pose nicely that would be a huge help. I’m feeling pretty okay about it, but I am definitely a little nervous. Thank you in advance! #hobby source
Natural light from those windows sounds perfect for soft, even lighting. Try positioning your subject facing the windows and use a reflector or white poster board to bounce light if needed. What kind of background vibe are you going for?
