Government agency acknowledged my email complaint but exceeded the 15-working-day deadline under RA 6713. What should I do?
I sent a complaint to a government agency via email, and they acknowledged receipt. On June 3, they also emailed me saying they were preparing their response.
Under Section 5(a) of RA 6713, public officials are required to respond to letters, telegrams, and other means of communication within 15 working days from receipt, stating the action taken.
It's now June 27, well beyond the 15-working-day period. I already sent one follow-up email before the deadline, but I still haven't received any response or explanation for the delay.
