Quaid is a man with a perfect life who out of nowhere became involved in a life-or-death struggle to discover who he is, but trapped in a future that makes him constantly question whether what is happening is real or just another dream. This role gave Schwarzenegger the opportunity to showcase his acting skills, overlooked in many of his films. In conclusion, TOTAL RECALL is a very good science fiction film, it has a great rhythm, is entertaining and invites us to think and reflect on how technology in the future can change our lives for better or worse. A great film of the science fiction genre that has been unfortunately overshadowed by other titles.
