COVID-19 Update for 12/4/24
Huh - I guess I missed a week and no one noticed. lol
48 cases this week. 28 on Oahu, 9 on Maui, 9 on Hawaii Island, 1 on Kauai, and 1 on Molokai.
0 deaths this week. Statewide total is 2,266 deaths
1.4% positivity rate
16 in the hospital and 2 in ICU
Commentary: Well, I missed last week and no one reminded me. Oh well. We'll start again.
I'm pretty sure the low case number is an artifact of the Thanksgiving weekend, but the low positivity rate is also good.
So we look to be in the best shape we've been in since the beginning. We should be expecting some increase soon because of the holidays but for now things seem super quiet. Take care everybody!
