1: One small ritual that makes my space calm and comforting:
Every evening, I open the windows just enough to let the cool air drift in, light a small candle, and sit quietly for a few minutes. The flicker of the flame, the soft scent in the air, and the sound of silence slowly wrapping around the room—it’s like the whole space exhales with me. It’s such a small thing, but it makes my home feel alive, peaceful, and mine.

Scent, sound, or sight that reminds me of home:
The smell of freshly cooked roti and chai instantly brings me back home, no matter where I am. The sound of distant laughter, spoons clinking against cups, and a TV playing softly in the background—those are the sounds that define home for me. They hold warmth, memories, and a quiet kind of love that no luxury can replace

Something parents or grandparents did that made home feel special:
My mom had this way of making everything feel okay. Even on the hardest days, she’d hum softly while cooking, and somehow that simple sound made the house feel warmer. My dad would always make sure there was laughter—through small jokes, small gestures. Together, they made the house feel safe, no matter what was happening outside..
