🔴 Pointe Cotton, Rodrigues Island: Water Carries Sand to the Sea, a Scene Never Seen Before
An impressive phenomenon was observed at Pointe Cotton on Rodrigues Island, where heavy water flow carried sand into the sea, creating what locals describe as a true sand avalanche.
After heavy rains on the island, water accumulated in some areas before rushing down to the beach. The force of the current carried a large amount of sand into the ocean, temporarily transforming the coastline.
Residents say it was a scene never seen before, with sand sliding like an avalanche heading toward the sea. Rodrigues Island is situated in the Indian Ocean, about 560 kilometers (350 miles) east of Mauritius.
This incredible scene reminds us of the power and unpredictability of nature. Nature clearly wanted a makeover! 🌊🌴 One minute the beach is calm, the next it’s auditioning for Sand Avalanche 101. So, never underestimate water, it likes to throw impromptu beach parties and rearrange your coastline just for fun. 😅
