So for the last 3-4 years I have been trying to get incorrect information regarding me deleted from the Internet.
Still don't know where it got started, but several 'people search' places have claimed I used an alleged 'alias' by the name of 'Michael Rotcbffi' (not even sure how that would be pronounced). I ignored it at first - until the information began appearing on my credit reports and was even mentioned to me by the Social Security Administration.
When the SSA insisted that I had used it as an alias, I decided it was time to start tracking it down.
And while I never did actually find where it originated, I did convince several sites to delete the information from profiles associated to me - and I thought I had finally eradicated it.
NOPE.
A site called Spokeo (whom I had contacted before) still had the name attached to me as an 'alias'.
I think this is the final one, and I did get the profile removed.
BUT then I found out this site (Spokeo) has email addresses and phone numbers and social sites belonging to me attached to profiles of my Dad, my Mom, and my grandmother on my Dad's side of the family.
Mom and Grandma were not Internet users. They had no email addresses - let alone did they use MY email addresses for anything.
So now I am trying to get those three profiles removed.
Pretty sure this is the result of faulty AI. Hard to say since the site will not tell me where, exactly, they got this information at.
