Anyone Own a DreamSofa Landon Long-Term? Need Advice Before We Spend $$$
My partner and I recently bought what we hope will be our forever home, and we’re finally furnishing it with the goal of keeping things for a long time rather than replacing them every few years.
Right now we’re considering the Landon from DreamSofa, along with some options from Crate & Barrel (Lotus) and Room & Board (Metro). All of them are a little above what we’d ideally like to spend, but we’re willing to stretch the budget if it means getting something that will truly last.
For context, we currently have two dogs and are planning to have kids in the near future, so durability is a big factor. Our current sectional is a Living Spaces Grand Down IV. We loved it initially, but after about four years a support beam/frame component broke and the cushions are sagged, which was pretty disappointing for a sofa at that price point (\~$2700).
I’d love to hear from anyone who has owned a DreamSofa Landon for a year or more:
• How has it held up over time?
• Is the wave cushion worth the upgrade?
• Is their warranty any good?
• Any issues with sagging, cushions losing shape, fabric wear, or frame problems?
• If you’ve owned Room & Board or Crate & Barrel sofas, how would you compare the quality and value?
Thanks! We’re trying to buy once and cry once, but also don’t want to overspend if the quality difference isn’t that significant.
