LAST GENERATION TO SEE THEM?
Scientists and environmental groups warned that fireflies are slowly disappearing in different parts of the world due to habitat destruction, pesticide use, and increasing light pollution. Experts explained that artificial light disrupts the insects’ ability to find mates and reproduce.
A report stated that fireflies are important indicators of environmental health. Their declining population has raised concerns among conservationists and netizens online.

Oh I missed that beautiful sparkling in the evening. The last I saw them in group was during my visit to my aunt and I was still an innocent boy and I use to chase them until my aunt scold me and let them live and enjoy the beautiful lights that they emit. I was grade four then. So sorry to hear that they are now losing their numbers
