🔥 This is a grunt sculpin. It doesn’t swim, it hops.
**Grunt sculpins** are small Pacific bottom dwellers that use their pectoral fins almost like legs. Instead of swimming constantly, they prop themselves up and “hop” across the seafloor looking for small crustaceans.
Filmed last night on a cold water dive off Vancouver Island.
