In late 2025, Polyphony Digital released its tone mapping and HDR technology process to the developer community. Now, BeamNG Drive is one of the first games to implement it.

I found this really interesting. Gran Turismo 7's tone mapping and HDR are considered one of the best implementations in the industry—if not the absolute best. To the point where Polyphony was kind enough to make the process available to the entire industry for free.

BeamNG (which is confirmed to arrive on PS5 in the near future) has been updated last week and is one of the first games to confirm that it now uses the new "GT7" method.
