When I was 6 I thought the war in the middle east after 9/11 was going to be a single direct conflict with George bush leading a charge against Osama bin laden in an agreed upon geographical location by both sides to settle the war quickly.
I really thought he'd be riding horseback sword and all in conflict like Alexander the great or Attila the hun against Osama because that's how wars work.
