Are you even asking for help? Let me be honest with you—I…

Are you even asking for help?

Let me be honest with you—I used to fight this. I used to wear the mask, smile through the pain, and act like I had it all handled. Asking for help felt like admitting defeat. I told myself I was strong. Independent. Capable. But what I really was… was drowning.

I sank deeper into my own misery, not because no one cared, but because I refused to reach out. I thought asking for help would expose my weakness, when in reality, it’s what would have revealed my strength.

And then one day, I did something different. I asked myself for help. I stopped pretending and started listening. I asked, “What do I really need right now?” And slowly, I started to climb.

But I didn’t stop there. I finally looked around and reached out to others. The energy I gained—the encouragement, the ideas, the wisdom—it blew me away. I realized I had been trying to scale a mountain alone when there were hands all around me, ready to help lift me up.

So I say this to you now: stop pretending you don’t need support. You’re not here to suffer in silence or climb in isolation. You’re here to grow. To evolve. And sometimes, that means leaning on others for strength until your own legs can stand again.

You can’t receive what you’re not willing to reach for. Ask. Open the door. Let the help in. That’s not weakness. That’s power.

If this message spoke to you or something within it resonated, I invite you to like and share it—because you never know who else might need to hear it today.
