Why does it feel like every place is operating at 40% capacity?
Ive lived in Dresden since October 2024 and one thing I noticed is that the infrastructure of all places here seem to be designed to accommodate more workers than there actually are. Every REWE, DM, Hospital, Bank, Police station, Primark, Saturn seems to be operating in a permanent state of short staffed. There’s always empty desks, empty rooms, empty cash registers? What is the reasoning behind this?
Why not have bigger offices, or less cash registers to allow for more store if youre always only going to man only 40% of them?
