The moderator can delete this post if you want to but I just wanted to let y’all know I have a friend who just lost her job and she’s getting evicted so I’m helping her apply for food stamps and Medicaid and any kind of assistance I can. I am taking her to you a food pantry and another church that gives away free bread and helps with free eye exams. It’s been very enlightening and very scary. There really isn’t a lot of help out there or any help there as it’s completely saturated so keep doing what you’re doing and keep saving your money if you can, this is been an eye-opening experience about how close we all are to my friends situation. Just feeling very grateful for what I do have and determined to not just give my money away on frivolous stuff. Best to everyone.
