Strong thunderstorms, tropical wave expected this week
In its five-day outlook, the TTMS explained that the axis of the next tropical wave is presently located in the central Atlantic near 44W.
It said: “The arch (wavelength) of this wave appears to be relatively broad and the axis somewhat skewed in a northeast to southwest orientation. Some forward convergence could begin to pass parts of the Lesser Antilles from Tuesday morning and the axis around mid-day Wednesday.”
