Acquiring cheap camping/outdoor gear
I love to hike and camp, and good-quality equipment is one of the things I find most worth paying for, but I realized a while back that often people will offload their used outdoors equipment for shockingly cheap if they fall off the hobby or upgrade. I felt inspired to post this because I stumbled upon a yard sale in a rich neighborhood today where someone was selling an osprey hiking backpack in good condition for $2 and I almost couldn't believe my luck. What have been your best frugal finds for outdoor gear?
