Help on my grandfather's medals and info.
I was hoping that someone could help with finding more information on my grandfather's war service. He joined the Marines in 1936. Fought in the Pacific (Tarawa and Peleliu) as infantry. When the war ended, he joined up again for Korea and was discharged in 1953.
His name was Robert William Oldham b- 1918 d- 1986. He was a master sergeant in California. But not sure what his ending rank was. He refused to ever discuss the wars.
